Combined with the known sex trades, biolabs, and international money laundering, Putin could no longer tolerate the danger Ukraine posed to Russia, and to Crimea--a critical Russian warm water port. I'm no Putin fan, but the West in general, NATO, and the United States are far from blameless here. We are in a full-on proxy war with Russia already.
